Exploring Christmas

The Christmas story is a historical true event, the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.  At His birth, He was called Emmanuel  (meaning "God with us").  Take some time to look at the resources on this page regarding the historic Christmas story.  This is not religious myth ... it is an eye-witness verifiable historic event.  Opening your life to the Lord Jesus will give you life in ways you never imagined!

The real historic Christmas story can be found in the Bible in two of the biographies of Jesus.  The first is Matthew which has the story from Joseph's experience (Jesus' earthly dad) and the second is Luke which has the story from Mary's experience (Jesus' earthly mother).  This write-up has the first two chapters of each biography woven together in one continous narrative ... enjoy!

The angels announced the birth of the Lord Jesus to a whole group of shepherds the night He was born (many eye witnesses).  Who is the Lord Jesus?  What names are given to Him by those who knew Him and predicted His coming as God's Messiah to the world?

The night Jesus was born, angels told the shepherds, "...for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."  What are some of the things Jesus promised us as Savior, then proved He had the power to deliver on what He promised by conquering death, walking out of the grave after three days on Easter morning?
